Update on improvements to the Poland Water System.   On 31 January 2023, the Water Sector Commission approved a Water Sector Program grant award for the Poland Water Association in the amount of $909,100.00, for water improvements.  These proposed improvements include running a new service line to Alexandria to connect to a new well.  These proposed improvements should double our water capacity and improve our water clarity issues.   At this time, we are in the process of obtaining required permits, approvals, a new Water Service Agreement with the provider, and then putting the project out for bid.   We hope to begin construction on this project in the very near future.  Stay tuned to this site for more updates.
