Poland Water System Improvements

Update on improvements to the Poland Water System.   On 31 January 2023, the Water Sector Commission approved a Water Sector Program grant award for the Poland Water Association in the amount of $909,100.00, for water improvements.  These proposed improvements include running a new service line to Alexandria to connect to a new well.  These proposed improvements should double our water capacity and improve our water clarity issues.   At this time, we are in the process of obtaining required permits, approvals, a new Water Service Agreement with the provider, and then putting the project out for bid.   We hope to begin construction on this project in the very near future.  Stay tuned...
